Commission on the Status of Women

CSW is the global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality, the rights and the empowerment of women.

Topics:

  • Advocating for more representation from women in global leadership roles
  • Evaluating laws regarding marital rape

Crisis

The Crisis Committee is a fast-paced committee which challenges delegates to react to an evolving situation on the spot, developing solutions and working to resolve the situation whilst protecting and advancing their country’s interests.

Topics:

  • Crisis Committee is a committee that will handle and resolve dynamic scenarios that will occur in real time.
  • The 2025 Crisis will be revealed on the first day of the conference.

Economic and Social Council

ECOSOC serves as the central platform for discussing international economic and social issues, and formulating policy recommendations addressed to member states and the United Nations System.

Historic International Court of Justice

HICJ adjudicates general past disputes between nations and gives advisory opinions on these international legal issues.

United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development

UNCSTD discusses timely and pertinent issues affecting science, technology and development

Topics:

  • Investigating the potential of automated vehicles
  • Promoting the right to individual privacy online from companies and governments

United Nations Environment Programme

UNEP is responsible for coordinating responses to environmental issues within the United Nations System

Topics:

  • Forging a new treaty on deforestation
  • Reflecting upon the increased use of electric vehicles

The United Nations Children’s Fund

UNICEF is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide.

Topics:

  • Assessing the present international adoption rules
  • Evaluating the issues regarding child marriages

United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs

UNOOSA promotes and facilitates peaceful international cooperation in outer space.

Topics:

  • Monitoring the issue of orbital space debris
  • Evaluating the pros and cons of the privatisation of the space sector

United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime

UNODC focuses on combating the trafficking and abuse of illicit drugs, crime prevention and criminal justice, international terrorism and political corruption.

  • Investigating the decriminalisation of small-scale drug possession

United Nation Security Council

UNSC focuses on establishing peacekeeping operations, enacting international sanctions, and authorising military action.

World Health Organisation

WHO leads global efforts to expand universal health coverage to promote healthier lives globally.

  • Assessing intellectual property rights regarding healthcare
  • Evaluating universal single-payer healthcare

World Trade Organisation

WTO discusses facilitating trade in goods, services and intellectual property among participating countries by providing a framework for negotiating trade agreements.

  • Evaluating the distribution and quantity of critical metals in modern industries
  • Advocating for the end of global trade tariffs

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

The UNHCR is a United Nations agency mandated to aid and protect refugees, forcibly displaced communities, and stateless people, and to assist in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country.

Topics:

  • Monitoring the future issue of migration induced by climate change
  • Addressing the Sudanese refugee crisis
